St. Patrick’s Day festivities

I’m claiming March St. Patrick’s Month. I mean why limit the music and celebration to just one day? There is so much going on in the next few weeks it’s almost impossible to keep track of it all. Below is my attempt. In the meantime, check out this band coming to the Barre Opera house:

Goitse Celebration Series

The Barre Opera House always brings in great Irish music. This St. Patrick’s Day week is no exception. I’m excited to check out this up and coming Irish band Goitse, which translates to “come here.” From their website: Recently crowned Live Ireland’s ‘Trad group of the Year’ for 2015, they have made a name for themselves as one of the most sought after bands amongst connoisseurs of Irish Traditional music cross the globe, with their performances gaining notoriety across four continents.
