Did you ever just hear a tune and totally lose yourself listening to it? When I first heard this week’s tune, I literally stopped what I was doing to really listen to the music. For some reason it just struck a chord with me and I haven’t been able to get it out of my head since. I guess that’s the magical thing about music. It’s supposed to touch you.
This week’s tune is actually a homework assignment from the spring semester of the Vermont School of Traditional Irish Music and as soon as I heard it, I had to learn it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did:
