St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, which means it’s time to dust off your best green attire, practice saying “Sláinte!” with confidence, and prepare for an afternoon of music, food, green beer, and serious craic.
This Saturday from 11:00am-1:00pm, One More Time will be bringing the tunes to the Wilkins Harley-Davidson dealership in Barre, and if you’ve never experienced Irish music surrounded by motorcycles, well… you’re in for a treat. Or at least a very loud and entertaining cultural exchange.
There’s something wonderfully perfect about fiddles, banjos, and Irish songs echoing through a building full of motorcycles. It’s like Ireland and Route 66 had a party and everyone was invited.
Why You Should Come
- Live Irish Music – We’ll be playing all the tunes that make you want to clap, sing along, and possibly attempt a jig after a few green beers.
- Green Beer – It’s festive. It’s mysterious. Is it different from regular beer? Scientifically… probably not. Spiritually… absolutely.
- Food – Because dancing (or aggressively foot-tapping) burns calories.
- The Craic – If you’re new to the term, craic (pronounced “crack”) means good fun, good conversation, and the kind of laughter that happens when someone forgets the words to the chorus and just yells confidently instead.
You might come for the music. You might come for the beer. You might come because your friend said, “Trust me, it’ll be fun.” But you’ll probably stay because the atmosphere turns into one big St. Paddy’s Day celebration where everyone has a spring in their step by the end of the afternoon.
A Few Helpful Tips
- Wear green. This protects you from imaginary St. Patrick’s Day pinchers.
- Bring friends. Irish music is scientifically proven to be way more fun with a crowd.
- Practice yelling “One more time!” — because that tends to happen at our gigs.
So grab your friends, throw on something green, and come celebrate St. Patrick’s Day the proper way—with live Irish music, good people, and a room full of motorcycles wondering why everyone is suddenly dancing.
We’ll see you there.
Sláinte! 🍀🎻🍻
