Friends, I have a small confession to make: my “Tune of the Week” has officially been bumped down the priority list by a bunch of green-clad, toe-tapping, St. Patrick’s Day gigs. And honestly? I have zero regrets.
March is basically the musical equivalent of being swept up in a very joyful, very loud, very Irish-flavored tornado. Between rehearsals, gigs, packing up instruments, and trying to remember where I left my good coffee cup (again), my brain is currently running on reels, jigs, and whatever snack I can find in the cupboard.
So for the next little while, I’m giving myself permission to take a tiny break from the strict “one tune every single week” schedule. Don’t worry—I’m not disappearing into the musical wilderness. I’ll still be learning new tunes (because let’s be real, I can’t not learn new tunes), and I’ll still be sharing them here. They just might show up more like surprise guests than clockwork appointments.
Think of it as Tune of the Week: St. Patrick’s Day Edition. Less “every Monday at precisely this time” and more “hey look, a new tune just wandered in, have a listen.”
Thanks for sticking with me while I chase down a very busy, very festive March. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a date with a set list, a cup of coffee, and about a hundred notes that all want to be played at once. 🍀🎶
