
If you don’t own Live at Mona’s, read no further and go buy the album. If you already own the album, then you know who Patrick Ourceau is. And you also know that this Saturday there is no place else you should be but in Montpelier to watch him play.
Patrick is a well-known and highly regarded, Clare-style fiddler who was born and raised in France, moved to NYC in 1989 and now lives in Toronto, Canada. When he’s not touring with the band Chulrua, Patrick plays with guitarist Eamon O’Leary, of which he recorded Live at Mona’s with back in 2004.
This weekend he’ll visit Vermont and perform a concert on Saturday, June 16 from 7:30-9:30 pm at the Four Corners Schoolhouse in East Montpelier. Tickets are $12 and reservations are recommended. Call 223-4039 to reserve your seat.
