Love is in the Air and on the Dance Floor

Looking for something a little different this Valentine’s Day? Forget overpriced dinners and awkward candlelight eye contact — come join One More Time for a Community Céilí Class hosted by the Garrett School of Irish Dance.

We’re cranking up the tunes and stepping into the spirit of the day with an open-to-everyone céilí from 4:15–5:30 PM on St. Valentine’s Day. No need to bring a partner, wear red, or know your left foot from your right — though, admittedly, that last one can help… a little.

This céilí is for everyone: all ages, all abilities, all levels of dance enthusiasm (and even mild coordination skepticism). If you can smile, clap, or confidently sway in the general direction of the music, you’ll fit right in.

Think of it as a group date with the best kind of partner — the whole community. Whether you’re bringing your sweetheart, your bestie, your curious neighbor, or your own two happy feet, you’ll leave with a full heart and possibly a few new dance moves.

There will be live music. There will be laughter. There will be that wonderful “what did I just dance?” feeling. And who knows? You might even find your new Valentine on the dance floor.

So grab your dancing shoes and join us this Friday, February 14, from 4:15–5:30 PM at the Richmond Free Library in Richmond, Vermont. Let’s spin, stomp, and smile our way through a Valentine’s Day to remember — no roses required. 🌹💃
